Urban Flow

Building an intuitive dashboard for property managers and tenants.

UI/UX

Real Estate

10 Weeks

Two audiences, one product, opposite needs. Managers want density and control. Tenants want to report a broken boiler in under a minute.

The problem

The original app served both with the same screens, so it was overwhelming for tenants and underpowered for managers. Everyone was annoyed, nobody could say exactly why.

What we built

  • Two distinct entry experiences on one shared component system

  • A manager view built for scanning: fixed columns, hard dividers, status as colour

  • A tenant flow of three screens from problem to confirmation

  • Status language that commits to a date instead of saying in progress

Result

Tenant issue reports up 2.1× — not because more broke, but because reporting stopped being a chore.
